Clients holding events at the Richardson Woman’s Club are allowed to purchase alcohol from an outside source, but all alcoholic beverages must be served by a licensed bartender employed by the RWC-approved caterer that the client chooses for the event.
The use of alcoholic beverages must be in strict accordance with the Alcoholic Beverage Code of the State of Texas. Alcohol cannot be sold, a cash bar is not allowed, and guests cannot serve alcohol to themselves. No money or tickets may be exchanged for alcohol. BYOB is not allowed. The serving of alcohol at any party or event given in honor of a minor is prohibited.
Off-duty Richardson Police Officer/s will be required to provide security at all client events where alcohol is served. The number of officers needed will be determined by the Richardson Woman’s Club. Security will be present for the duration of the event (a minimum of four hours), from the time the first guest is scheduled to arrive until the time the contract expires.
If there is any misrepresentation of the type of event being held, the Richardson Woman’s Club will immediately remove guests from the premises and withhold all fees for violation of this policy.
The Richardson Woman’s Club is a non-smoking facility. No smoking of cigarettes, cigars, pipes or e-cigarettes are permitted inside the buildings, near outside doors, or on RWC decks.
